ABOUT US

At MY SPACE we are mindful of the child and their Space around - the Space that they willfully explore and learn from. As teachers we enrich this space and are always prepared to be amazed and support the discoveries and experiences they make. Building upon these discoveries and experiences is what we believe will result in optimal development.

We Believe that a happy self is ready to perform and hence strive to provide a positive Physical, Social and Emotional Environment that sustains the smile within our family. Our program incorporates play oriented, hands-on and experiential learning which requires good partnership with families. So get in touch. We are always open to forming new and lasting relationships

OUR PROGRAMS

INFANT PROGRAM

Children are meaning Makers right from the time of their birth. They learn from their sensory experiences in the space around them. Our Infant Program is for children ages 6 - 24 months.

TODDLER PROGRAM

For these curious lil' explorers every space is My Space! They work their way through this stage figuring out their territory. Our Toddler program is for children ages 24 - 36 months

PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAM

With a curious mind and experimenting attitude these little bodies never get tired asking question. Expanding these question into meaningful learning opportunities is what we do. Our preschool program is for children ages 3-5 years.

OUR MISSION

We believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on their strengths, interests and curiosities, we let the children explore the space around them as they develop new abilities and form good relationships.

CHANDARA SUNDER

Director / Early Child Educator

Having lived in the United States for more than 10 years, Chandara Sunder and her family moved from the East coast to the Bay Area in 2014. With an Educational Background in Architecture and Design, Chandara began her connection with young children by designing spaces for them to live and learn. Fascinated by the dynamic development process of a child and the curious nature of her own three children Chandara dedicated more of her time to learning about and being with young children and eventually found that her passion lies in supporting the development of little minds.
